El pasado día martes 9 de mayo, el Colegio Bucerias festejó a las madres realizando un evento el cual dio inicio a las 5:00 de la tarde dando la bienvenida la Maestra María De Lourdes Romero Serna, quien dirigió a la concurrencia un mensaje emotivo, para enseguida dar continuidad con la presentación de los diversos actos de los alumnos que fueron desfilando en el gran patio de Secundaria, dentro de las instalaciones del colegio.
Fue así como las tradicionales “Mañanitas” fueron interpretadas con bellos acordes de guitarra y canto a cargo de los alumnos de Secundaria. Luego la recitación “El Rostro de Mamá” por los chiquitines de Kínder I y II, y la declamación “I Love My Mommy” por alumnos de Preescolar III, con especial gracia esparcieron sobre todos los presentes los momentos más tiernos dando tono a los colores pastel que nos brindaba la tarde.
Enseguida los estudiantes de los grados primero y segundo de Primaria nos deleitaron con la canción “All I Really Need” y los del tercer grado con el bailable “Queen of Hearts”.
Gratamente nos sorprendieron los alumnos del segundo grado de Secundaria, en su intervención con una poesía coral titulada “El Brindis Del Bohemio” donde destacó admirablemente el joven Marcos Alonso Parra Becerra, ¡felicitaciones Marcos!
Y de lo solemne las emociones nos llevaron ahora por un tobogán inesperado de ritmo y alegría, surgiendo una actuación que resultó realmente sensacional por parte de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto del nivel Primaria, gracias al popurrí de “Vaselina”.
Pasamos a un lapso de calma y recreo con la tradicional RIFA, la cual dirigieron la Maestra Marilú y la Doctora Alma Martínez Figueroa, Tesorera de la Asociación de Padres de Familia, siendo los premios nueve bonitas chalinas de Perú de diversos colores, y el décimo una cena para dos personas.
Continuando con el programa las alumnas del 4to grado de Primaria se lucieron con el baile “My Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, luego vino un momento de pletórica gracia y bienvenida comedia con el sketch “Mi Mamá” por alumnas de Secundaria.
Finalmente para cerrar con “broche de oro” las alumnas de 5to grado de Primaria bailaron “Get Right” y la Maestra Marilú clausuró el evento con también emotivas palabras de despedida.

Last Tuesday, May the 9th, Colegio Bucerias celebrated mothers with and event that started at 5:00 o’clock. Teacher Marilu Romero Serna welcomed the audience, delivering an emotive message, followed by the presentation of the several performances of the students who filed by through the High-school’s patio, within the school’s premises.
It was so that the “mañanitas” were sung to the notes of the guitars and junior high school students voices. Next came the recitation of “The Face of Mom” by the little ones in Kinder I and II, and the declamation of “I Love my Mommy” by students of Kinder III with special graciousness spread upon the people in attendance the most tender moments melding with the soft tones of the dusk.
Next, students of First and Second Grades Primary level delighted us with the song “All I Really Need”, and third graders danced away to the rhythm of “Queen of Hearts”.
We were moved by the 8th grade students performance of the “Brindis del Bohemio” – The Bohemian’s Toast”, where young Marcos Alonso Parra Becerra made an outstanding job; congratulations, Marcos!
And from solemnity emotions took us down the slide of unexpected rhythm and joy with a really exceptional performance of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students who danced away to a selection of the movie sound track of “Grease”.
A moment o peace came with the traditional raffle, directed by Teacher Marilu and Mrs. Alma Martinez Figueroa, Treasurer to the PTA Board. The prizes were 9 beautiful and colorful shawls, and one dinner for 2.
The program was then continued by 4th grade girls dancing “My Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, followed by a sketch prepared by junior high students titled “My Mom”.
Finally the evening was closed by 5th grade students who danced “Get Right” and Miss Marilu ended the event with moving farewell words.
